Using the Wireless Microphone

The School of Computational Science Seminar Room has a wireless microphone available for presenters wishing to use it.

Volume control of the Wireless Microphone is available through the AMX Touchscreen Controller.

To begin using the wireless Microphone, turn the unit on by pressing the Power/Mute button located on the top of the transmitter. The green LED will indicate that the Unit is on and transmitting. Depressing the Power/Mute button again will turn the LED to an orange color indicating that the unit is muted. To unmute the transmitter, simply press the Power/Mute button until the LED turns green.

To turn off the transmitter, press the Power/Mute button down until the LED goes out. There is a battery indicator on the LCD Panel on the front of the transmitter. If the battery is reading low, please contact Dana Lutton in Rm. 453 for a replacement battery. If Dana is not available, contact the front desk and they will direct you to someone with the Technical Services Group to assist you further.

If you need to adjust the volume of the Wireless Microphone, use the AMX Touchpanel Controller to adjust the volume as needed.
