Selecting the Projector Inputs
The School of Computational Science Seminar Room has two projectors that are located behind the rear projection screen at the front of the room. Control of these projectors is through the AMX Touchscreen Controller located on the left side of the Presenter's desk.
If the AMX Touchscreen is in sleep mode, all you have to do is press on the screen to wake it up. When it wakes up you should see this screen:
Across the top are the Control Group buttons. Press the button marked "Projector Control" and you should get a screen which now looks like this:
Select the Select Source button for the projector(s) you wish to change the input for. While looking at the Rear Projection screen from the audience area, Projector #1 is the projector on the right hand portion of the screen while Projector #2 is the left hand portion.
Once you press the Select Source button you will see something similar to this:
Simply press the Input you would like to send to the individual projector. The current input will be a bright yellow button. You may send any input to any projector with some exceptions:
- The individual displays for the Seminar PC can only go to specific projectors (left half to projector 1 / right half to projector 2)
- The DVD and VCR Inputs currently can not be selected at the same time. You can not send the VCR to Projector 1 and the DVD to Projector 2. The VCR or DVD Player can however be sent to both projectors at the same time.
