Duplexing For Windows

The following printers currently support duplexing:

  • pr420a
  • pr446
  • pr489
  • sc150v
  • sc151e

  • Open up the printers window by:
    • *START-->SETTINGS-->PRINTERS*
  • Configure the "properties" of the printer which duplexes. (In our case it will be pr420).
    • Right Click on the preferred printer icon and go to "properties".
      As indicated below
    • Note: If the designated printer icon is not shown, then you need to add a printer

  • Click on the tab that says "Device Settings".
    • Scroll down untill you get to "Duplex Unit: Uninstalled".
    • Click on the word "Uninstalled" and a drop down box will appear.
    • Select "Install".
    • Click "Apply".
    • Click "Close".
    • Note:* Also make sure that "Tray 4" is also set to "Installed".

  • *Configuring the layout*

    • Go to File-->Print.
    • Click on the tab "Layout".
    • Select one of the following:
      • "Flip on Long Edge"
      • "Flip on Short Edge"
      • As shown below.
  • Go back to the "General" tab.
      • Click "Print".

You're done!
