SCS Computational Resources

petalcluster.gif

The SCS is home to a growing number of high performance computational clusters. While the majority of our clusters are dedicated to specific research areas, an increasing number of computer cycles are being made available to SCS researchers, to their affiliates, and to other HPC resource owners in University through a variety of high throughput management tools and job schedulers. To run jobs on SCS computer systems you must either be affiliated with an SCS faculty member or you must own, or be affiliated with someone who owns, a computer system hosted in the SCS machine room. The SCS will host computer systems according to the following guidelines: NonSCSSytems. General user accounts can be abtained on the IBM SP3 and SP4 supercomputers (see http://www.scs.fsu.edu/supercomputer/ for details).
