Local Systems Committee

The committee consists of three members appointed from the tenure-track and non-tenure-track SCS faculty. The committee represents faculty members and scientists who use the local computing facilities.

The committee develops and recommends policies regarding facility, computer, and network usage, and best allocation of the efforts of the technical support professional staff for maintenance, repair, upgrading, and new installations. The committee also develops short- and long-term plans and budget recommendations for upgrades, new installations, and regular maintenance of local infrastructure.
