Why do my jobs terminate after running about 30 minutes on tempest?

All long running jobs must be submitted to one of two queuing systems; the Sun Grid Engine (SGE) or Condor. Jobs run outside of these systems are automatically terminated after 30 minutes. Either run your jobs through one of these queueing systems or consider running your job on the applications server called Prism?.
