prism.jpg The desktop systems at SCS generally defines all of the computational systems which people as their SCS/internet access point. The desktops generally are a mixture of x86, x86_64 and MAC resources running Linux, Windows or MAC OS. SCS takes advantage of the SCS Linux desktop resources for computation via the job submission software condor.

The hardware for desktops vary.
