26.Question: What do I do if I am hosting a seminar speaker?
Answer: You must first contact Anne Johnson (johnsona@scs.fsu.edu) to see if the seminar room is available for that date and time. Then, please fill out the Visitor Request Form on the SCS Website. Upon submission, this form is received by staff members in the administrative area.

STUDENTS

27.Question: Is it OK for me to ask the students to make copies?

TRAVEL

29.Question: Where can I find information regarding FSU rules and regulations for travel?
Answer: University travel (http://www.vpfa.fsu.edu/control/travel.html) has online information about airfare contracts, auto rentals, foreign travel, etc.

30.Question: Who do I see for help with travel arrangements?
Answer: Lynn LaCombe (lacombe@scs.fsu.edu) handles travel arrangements for you, or for visitors or seminar speakers, including airline, hotel, and rental car. She also helps to complete the necessary forms as required by FSU.

VISITORS

31.Question: What do I do if I have a short term (less then 2 weeks) visitor?
Answer: Please fill out the Visitor Request Form.

32.Question: What do I do if I have a new post doc or a long term visiting scientist (more than 2 weeks)?
Answer: Contact Anne Johnson (johnsona@scs.fsu.edu) and she will provide office space, user account, keys, etc. The Host is responsible for computer equipment.

33.Question: How do I request a user account for a visitor?
Answer: It can be requested by filling out the Visitor Request Form if it is for a short-term visitor (less than 2 weeks). For a post-doc or a long term visiting scientist (more than 2 weeks) contact Anne Johnson (johnsona@scs.fsu.edu) or request yourself via the SCS website, New User Application. 34.Question: How do I get temporary parking (not more than 1 week) for a visitor?
